Flat warts are probably the most inoffensive members of the already somewhat harmless wart family. They’re tiny, smooth, skin-colored spots that can appear in groups on the face, neck or legs. They’re termed “flat” because they’re usually flush with the skin’s surface rather than raised.
A tiny, sterile needle (the size and width of an eyelash) is carefully inserted into, or beside, the blemish that is being treated. A very small current of heat is passed into the blemish. This ‘dries up’ the vessels that feed into the area of concern, leading to a visible reduction in the appearance of the blemish.
